Ubisoft has released a new trailer and some screenshots for the next Splinter Cell game called Splinter Cell Blacklist.
Sam Fisher’s back in action in this new gameplay trailer, sharing the ideals of both the responsibility and burden of bearing the Fifth Freedom.
As former U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt stated it in his “Four Freedoms” speech, there are four fundamental freedoms that everyone should have as a birthright:
– Freedom of speech and expression
– Freedom of worship
– Freedom from want
– Freedom from fear
The Fifth Freedom is the liberty to do whatever it takes to protect the first four. Sam Fisher is one of the very few to have been granted the Fifth Freedom. From now on, he will have to make his own choices reporting to the President only. But the line between right or wrong is often a fine one…
Splinter Cell Blacklist is due out Spring 2013 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
