By now, you must’ve noticed that the Crucible in Darksiders II isn’t like an easy walk to the park. While it takes a lot of patience and dedication to complete the 100th wave, you know that in the end, you will be heavily rewarded.
Since it’s almost impossible to beat the Crucible on the first play through, you will be needing to come up with stronger equips like acquiring a legendary weapon that can only be obtained in the second play through (New Game+). Once you reach the maxed level of 30 and have all of the equipments you need to be invisible to the hundreds of monster that you’ll take down in the Cruicble arena, then you’re ready to take the challenge and claim your rewards.
Here are the list of rewards that you can expect to get every time you clear a certain number of waves in the arena:
Stage 1 (Complete Waves 1-25) – Heartstone Talisman
Stage 2 (Complete Waves 26-50) – Abyssal Armor Boots
Stage 3 (Complete Waves 51-75) – Barbed Defilers
Stage 4 (Complete Waves 76-100) – Abyssal Spaulders, Assassin Talisman
Complete 100 Waves in One Sitting – Aftermath
Defeat the Wicked Killington (Wave 101) – Elemental Talisman.
Aside from the in-game rewards that you will get, Xbox 360 owners who will beat the Crucible will also unlock a Death Mask avatar gear for their personalized avatar.
