Following the multiple games in recent history that have had new additions of season passes, or similar items, which provide the player the option to purchase a subscription to get downloadable content at a discounted price, it seems that the next Assassin’s Creed title may join the line-up.
As you can see in the image above (click to enlarge), sent to Gamestop, the team plans to have the “season pass” available for pre-order very soon. They also noted that they are putting together a development team for post game DLC content, which will likely be at least some of the content included in the season pass.
