In an interview with CVG, Gearbox President Randy Pitchford has revealed that Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 is still in development.
He did reiterate that the project has evolved since it was revealed last year. The game was set to be released sometime in 2012, although Pitchford has confirmed that the game will not be released this year.
“I’m looking forward to being able to talk about Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 soon,” said Pitchford. “The game has evolved, I think people are going to be surprised by what they’ll see, and it’s still evolving. One of the reasons why we’re not talking about it now is that it’s evolving and we need to make further changes before we can start talking about it.”
Initial speculation was that the game had been cancelled altogether in May. Pitchford says we may hear more about the game after the release of Borderlands 2 in September and before February 2012 when Aliens: Colonial Marines comes out.
