Old Gym Leaders to Return in Pokemon Black and White 2

Thanks to some information in the latest issue of Coro Coro, a number of new details about Pokemon Black and White 2 are hitting the web. The biggest detail is the Pokemon World Tournament, which allows you to fight many of the Gym Leaders and Champions from the previous games. However, it’s not currently known if this is a new mode or simply an in game event.

Some other new information is that Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus original forms are now known as “Incarnation” forms, where as their new forms are known as “Sacred Beast” forms. These forms will also fill spots 198 – 200 in the Unova dex. Also Bianca will give you your starting Pokemon, which is due to a favor owed to Juniper.

Despite some earlier skepticism for Pokemon Black and White 2, it is starting to sound like quite the game. With the addition of many popular characters from the past, it is sure to excite long standing fans. Even I have to admit the reappearance of Giovanni is a huge plus. With the game releasing on June 22nd in Japan, we’re sure to see other surprised in the coming weeks.
