One of the biggest additions to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is the ability to play as Galactus, MvC3’s final boss, in a special mode. However, you won’t be able to access this character right away. There are two ways you can go about unlocking him:
1. Amass 30,000 Player Points
OR
2. Have save data on your system from Marvel vs. Capcom 3
As you can tell, one of these is significantly easier than the other, assuming you still have your original copy or save data. Even if you don’t own the game anymore and erased its existence, renting the original would be a better option than grinding your way to 30k points.
