It’s unheard of having a currently contracted UFC fighter to feature in a WWE video game. THQ made it happen since Brock Lesnar is in WWE ’12.
TMZ has reported some fresh new details on how this happened. According to the site, sources say THQ approached the deal to Lesnar back in January. Lesnar liked the idea but didn’t sign until UFC President Dana White gave him permission.
Thankfully, White liked the idea too and Brock Lesnar signed the deal and will now feature as a wrestler in WWE ’12.
White told TMZ, “I love WWE and I have nothing but love for Vince McMahon — I’m totally OK with Brock being in the game.”
THQ will release gameplay footage of Brock Lesnar later today…
WWE ’12 is released November 22nd in North America and November 25th in Europe for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
