With Homefront now available in stores, KAOS revealed today that it needs more dedicated servers up to meet up with the demand.
Despite the mixed review scores that the game has been receiving, Homefront seems to be pretty determined in bringing more servers up. According to its official tweet of Homefront,
“Demand for dedicated servers outstripped expectations. Though we’re thrilled by the popularity, please bear with us as we bring more online.”
JustPushStart didn’t like Homefront that much as stated in our review.

March 15, 2011 at 6:46 PMlol just goes to show they did not plan on this being a popular game. IMO you make a game thinking its awesome and that it will be popular and you would prepare for that with more servers etc.

March 15, 2011 at 7:52 PMThey should have made more servers before they released the game anyways. It was bound to be an epic game loved by many.

March 15, 2011 at 8:22 PMBoo hoo. Yeah it sucks but come on? How many games DO have good first day online support? I know MW2 and Black Ops both had matchmaking issues for a good while when trying to get in with big parties. Not to mention Battlefield, EA’s servers still suck.
Just saying, give them some slack. This is not the first release which this has happened to.
