The first DLC for Mafia II has already been announced with both details and screenshots. Named ‘The Betrayal of Jimmy’ it will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and will be a free download to all that purchase a brand new copy of Mafia II. The DLC will also be available to all PlayStation 3 users via purchase through the PSN Store for £6.29.
The Betrayal of Jimmy DLC takes players through a different perspective of the mob. Jimmy a mercenary is who the rest of the mob call to finish their jobs off. Missions will take a slightly more arcade style ranging from assassinations to timed vehicle missions which all have dramatic endings. The Betrayal of Jimmy is looking great just like the rest of the game, the below screens might just tempt your preorder.
The Second DLC ‘Jimmy’s Vendetta’ pack will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. This will also add new missions ranging from cleaning up mob members’ mess to new city based missions. Jimmy Vendetta DLC also adds new leaderboards to the game so you can try to outrank you friends as they rise to the top.
Both pieces of DLC aim to get you to return and once again enjoy the havoc of the mob in Empire Bay, it’s good to see the developer getting behind the game with plans to keep the game fresh.
