As the release date of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep fast approaching, there are numerous report of Bungie sending out emails about the system requirements. While most of them are the same as the base game, it seems that those who will buy the expansion should free at least 165 GB of space.
Currently, Destiny 2 stands at around 90GB on systems like Xbox One X. However, with Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, it needs at least 165GB. Unfortunately, it’s not a definite number as it’s subject to change. But more or less, it have at least 200 GB of space available- better yet use an external hard drive to install the game.
“165 GB hard drive storage space required as of 10.01.19. Subject to change. Requires Internet. Significant elements and functionality may require online platform subscription, sold separately. Using software constitutes acceptance of Destiny Software License Agreement at www.bungie.net/sla.”
