One of the flaws of recent WWE games were the boring career modes. Well the career mode looks like a big improvement in WWE 2K19 because a new trailer shows some of the storylines that you will be involved in!
2K Games has released a new trailer looking at the MyCAREER mode in WWE 2K19. For the first time in many years, the career mode will have full voice-overs. Not only will your own character speak, but many real life WWE Superstars have also lent their voices into the game as well.
Your character will interact with the likes of Triple H, Braun Strowman, Matt Hardy, Bray Wyatt and more. It feels like the old ‘Road to WrestleMania’ modes that used to feature in the Smackdown vs Raw video games just a couple of years ago.
The new trailer also takes a look at the Wyatt Compound mode. This is a new backstage area where you can fight in the Wyatt Compound that was featured in WWE television a couple of months ago. It looks like the career mode will have cooler storylines that is unique from what we see on real life WWE television.
One of the reasons the previous career modes were boring was because they did not feature wacky storylines and no voice-overs were included. This year, it looks like 2K Games has been listening to fan feedback so 2K19’s career mode is looking much better than ever before.
Anyway, WWE 2K19 releases on October 9th, 2018 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. If you are getting the Collector’s Edition of the game, you can play the game a bit earlier on October 5th, 2018. You can look at the new trailer posted below. Do you think the new MyCAREER mode looks better than ever before this year?
