A few weeks before the release of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, Square Enix announced that there will be a free outfit or costume from Dragon Quest VIII that the hero can wear right from the beginning of the game. While the outfit or costume is good only in the early parts of the game, there’s a way to improve it further that can later be used at the latter part of the game.
You will be needing several materials to craft the Trodain Tog and Bandana to its true form. If you start the game and wanting to get the Trodain Tog and Bandana upgraded early, you will be disappointed as the materials are very rare and won’t be available until later in the game.
Dragon Quest XI Trodain Tog Bandana Guide
Here are the materials you need to craft them:
Artisinal Trodain Bandana
Materials Required:
– Trodain Bandana
– Pep Pop
– Kaleidocloth
Artisinal Trodain Tog
Materials Required:
– Trodain Tog
– Pep Pop
– Kaleidocloth
The materials you pretty much need are the Pep Pop and Kaleidocloth. Here’s how to you can get them in the game:
Kaleidocloth
Kaleidocloth is a rare cloth material that can only be acquired post-game. It’s available through item exchanges with Krystalinda of Sniflheim or a very rare drop from the Ice Golem in Snaerfelt.
With post-game equipment requiring Kaleidocloth, you will be needing a lot of these and the easiest method in acquiring them is through item exchange with Krystalinda. To exchange for a Kaleidocloth, you must bring here a Serpent’s Soul.
How to get Serpent’s Soul
– Treasure chest in Drustan’s Labyrinth – Path to the Trial Isle
– From Dragon-type and Demon (Snow Dragon, Black Dragon, Serpent, etc) monsters that can be found in the Royal Library, Snaerfelt, Insularais islands, Battleground
Pep Pop
Pep Pop is a consumable item that allows a character to instantly activate its Pep Power. It’s rare and can only be acquired in quests like Mistress Bev’s Perfect Prediction. At the later parts of the game, when Cobblestone is fully reconstructed, you can buy them in shops
