The much awaited crossover between Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter World is now live in the world of Eorzea in Final Fantasy XIV.
With Patch 4.36 now available, Monster Hunter fans can now seek out the Rathalos in Eorzea and obtain one of the rarest looks available in the game – the Rathalos Armor set, a minion, and a new mount. To fight Rathalos in Final Fantasy XIV, simply undertake ‘The New King of the Block’ quest- an eight player battle that incorporates mechanics inspired by Monster Hunter World. Those who are seeking a much more challenging fight with Rathalos, feel free to take on the Extreme challenge of the said trial.
Here are the rewards that you can obtain:
- Rathalos Armor Set – armor sets inspired by Rathalos
- New Minions – Poogie and Palico
- New Mount – Ride Rathalos, the “King of the Skies,” throughout Hydaelyn
- New Furnishings – BBQ Spit
In addition to the cross over, the new patch also brings the next chapter in The Forbidden Land Eureka series: The Pagos Expedition. With the new chapter, players will be able to explore an all-new area, further strengthen their Eureka weapons, and obtain additional rewards such as minions.
