Tennis World Tour released earlier this year and has received very bad reviews from critics and fans. This is mainly because the game is missing a lot of features. Well it turns out the game was released incomplete just to coincide with the Roland Garros tournament.
BigBen Interactive Founder, Alain Falc admitted in an interview with Jeux Video (via GamingBolt) that Tennis World Tour is actually just 20 percent complete right now at its current state. They did not want to delay the game in order for it to still release alongside Roland Garros.
A more refined version of the game will be released sometime in the near future with 2019 being their target date. A new game will then be released in either 2020 or 2021. Currently, the game has shipped 500,000 copies so far.
This seems unfair considering the fact that Tennis World Tour is a full price release at $60 for the standard edition and $75 for the Legends Edition. Despite the game being incomplete at launch, the price did not reflect that…
