MotorStorm makes its return to the PlayStation 3 as Sony has officially announced MotorStorm Apocalypse. The main difference about the city you’ll be racing in is that it has been hit by an earthquake. You’ll be racing across unstable skyscrapers, through ravaged buildings and whole lot more debris. All this while more earthquakes tear the city apart in real time.
It’s now a fight for survival. Choose up to 13 different vehicle classes and one of 40 unique races. No one race is ever the same as hundreds of explosive real-time dynamic events occur to make it a very unpredictable experience.
Customizing your vehicle makes a return where you can download new vehicles, parts and graphics from the PlayStation®Store. You can even share your ideas to other players around the world.
Sony has yet to reveal a release date for the game but it did state to “Get ready for 2011”. So naturally the game will be arriving sometime next year.
