For the first time in Madden history, an all-new story mode will be included in Madden 18. You will play as a promising young rookie hoping to get drafted in the NFL.
EA writes: Powered by Frostbite, Longshot is Madden NFL’s first-ever cinematic and playable story mode where your decisions lead forgotten prospect, Devin Wade on the pursuit to hear his name called on NFL Draft day.
EA Sports is implementing pretty much story modes in all of its sports video games. It’s pretty cool that story modes are being added as it’s something different and it shows you how hard it is to become a real-life sports star.
You can check out Madden 18’s story mode below. The game itself will be out on August 25th, 2017 for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
