The Jak and Daxter trilogy as well as its solo racing video game will be heading to the PS4 later this year. They will be labelled under the PS2 classics banner.
Even though the Jak and Daxter games aren’t being remastered in the traditional way, these games will be upscaled to 1080p and also have trophy support. You can also share screenshots/videos and Remote Play is also possible.
The PlayStation Blog sadly didn’t announce an exact release date, but the games should be out later this year. The four games available are: Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak and and even Jak X.
The Jak series were great games developed by Naughty Dog back in the PS2 era. Sadly, Sony has yet to revive the series for new gamers to experience. This is a step in the right direction though.
