Respawn Entertainment has announced the dates as to when you can participate in the beta for Titanfall 2. You can play very soon!
For PS4 and Xbox One owners, the first time that you can play the beta will be on August 19-21. You can try the the game modes of Bounty Hunt (5v5) and Pilots vs. Pilots (8v8). The two maps are called Boomtown and Homestead.
The second beta weekend kicks off on August 26-28. Here you will try the sole game mode of Amped Hardpoint (6v6). The new map you can play on is Forward Base Kodai.
Remember, the Titanfall 2 beta is only open to PS4 and Xbox One players. Respawn is still working hard on the PC version.
