Revealed during this month’s Famitsu magazine, ArcSys will be putting their popular lobbies into the upcoming Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-. Guilty Gear Xrd may only be a month away, but new details keep coming up every day.
Similar to the lobbies offered in the PS3 release of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, up to 64 players can gather up in a local lobby and sport their own unique avatar. Players can queue up for arcade machines, send little messages back and forth, and watch live matches in progress. In addition, a new Online Training mode is offered to give players a chance to try out new tech with a human player (Ultra Street Fighter IV implements a similar feature).
Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- will launch on both Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 systems and will feature cross-play between consoles. Japanese players (and importers) will be able to get their hands on Xrd on December 4th with a North American release to follow on the 16th.
