You won’t be able to use Xbox One’s voice commands if you live in New Zealand.
Microsoft announced the following statement:
At launch, voice in Austria, Ireland and New Zealand will not be available on Xbox One but we are working to deliver this feature as soon as possible via a software update.
Accents are different around the world and I guess Microsoft needs more time for the Xbox One to understand the voices of the world. Austrians, Irish and Kiwis all have unique accents. As a Kiwi, most people think we speak like Australians…
The Xbox One will be out in 13 countries from November 22nd.
