Sony Santa Monica has revealed it has finished with making new DLC for God of War: Ascension.
God of War: Ascension was released earlier this year and was the first in the God of War series to have multiplayer. Several new items were added to the mode after the game came out. It looks like now the studio will be working on something else.
Santa Monica’s community strategist Aaron Kaufman announced the following on the PlayStation Blog:
As of today, we will not be producing any more DLC content (maps, weapons, armors, marks) for God of War: Ascension Multiplayer, as our primary team resources start to transition to other projects here at Sony Santa Monica. However — this is not the end of support for God of War: Ascension Multiplayer.
With the PS4 coming out in just a few weeks, something tells me they’ll be using their time now producing a next-gen God of War game…
