Infinity Ward has just announced that the next installment from the world famous Call of Duty series, Call of Duty: Ghosts, will not hinder gamers who upgrade to the next generation of consoles.
With Call of Duty: Ghosts being released at a time of change, with the next generation of consoles being released shortly, Infinity Ward has taken steps to aid gamers make the jump. On a gaming side, gamers’ statistics transfer from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One and PlayStation 3 to the PlayStation 4. On the money side, those who purchase the Call of Duty: Ghosts season pass will be able to transfer the content in the same way. It seems an odd idea for a company that was once known for charging gamers a fortune, but it’s one that is most pleasantly welcome.
