Sega released today the highly-anticipated demo of Yakuza: Like a Dragon in Japan via the PlayStation Store. In addition, the company also released a new 10-minute story trailer confirming that the lead protagonist is still Kazuma Kiryu.
The demo should give players a chance to see the game’s new battle system and get a glimpse of the story. Unfortunately, no word yet as to when the demo would arrive in North America. However, if you have had access to the Japanese PlayStation Store, feel free to download it.
In the ten minute trailer that Sega released, players will get to see Kazuma Kiryu appears at the end of the trailer. This means Kazuma will still be the main lead of the game. He has been the protagonist from the very first Yakuza until the last game, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be out on January 16, 2020, in Japan for the PlayStation 4. No word yet as to when it will be released in North America and Europe but it’s expected sometime in 2020.
