In today’s State of Play of Sony, the company announced that a MediEvil demo will be coming to PlayStation Store sometime today.
The demo will feature a portion of the game and will only be available for download for a limited time. Players can download the demo starting today until October 7 at 12AM PT. Those who will be playing the demo can obtain an exclusive item called “Dan’s Helmet” that can be used in the full game.
Here’s an overview of the game, via the PlayStation Store:
Re-live the original adventure on PlayStation 4. The beloved fan-favorite has been completely remade from the grave up, blending classic gameplay with stunning visuals, all in eye-popping 4K!
Step into the bones of Sir Daniel Fortesque, a slightly-inept (and long dead) knight accidentally resurrected by his greatest enemy, the evil sorcerer Zarok. With a second chance to foil his greatest foe, Dan will once again set out to save the kingdom of Gallowmere and earn his place as a true hero.
MediEvil will be available for the PlayStation on October 25. Gamers can now pre-order it through the PlayStation Store for $29.99 for the regular edition or $39.99 for the Deluxe. As always, check back with us near the release date for our review coverage.
