Bandai Namco announced today that the highly-anticipated Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be released in North America and Europe on January 17, 2020. For those in Japan, the game will be launching for PS4 and Xbox One on January 16, 2020.
Per Bandai Namco, the game will come in several editions; Deluxe, Ultimate, and Collector’s Edition. In The Collector’s Edition, it will include the full game, an exclusive diorama figure, a hardcover art book, and a collectible Steelbook. In addition, a Season Pass will be available as well.
Gamers who will pre-order the game will have early access to Bonyu’s training, the “A Competitive Party with Friends” sub-quest, and a cooking item.

Developed as the most expansive and accurate retelling of Goku’s life, DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT will take players through their favorite DRAGON BALL Z story arcs, meet beloved friends, battle powerful enemies, and bring light to some long-running DRAGON BALL Z mysteries as well. No other game has ever told Goku’s life story in such detail and with such vivid presentation.
