As we get closer to the fall season, we’re starting to see more interesting games release. This week we actually have a few noteworthy titles to play before Control releases.
Starting the week off we have RAD bringing a new roguelike to consoles. It’s a neat game, even if it could use better balance, that combines weird mutations with charming characters. Joining it is Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution for the Switch. This title is pretty much a celebration of what made the card game popular and has so many great things that it brought a smile to our face during this years E3.
Later we have Black Desert making its way to the PlayStation 4. We weren’t terribly impressed by the beta, though it does have a dedicated fanbase and played much better at E3. Next up is Oninaki, the fascinating new JRPG. It tries to bring pretty visuals together in an action packed adventure. You’ll be able to check out our review later this week. Finally, Life is Strange 2 releases the highly anticipated fourth chapter. Given the mess that this run has been, it will be interesting to see if the gap was enough time to save it.
