One of the biggest problems with PlayStation Plus isn’t the service or the pseudo-free games, as much as consistency. Some months it feels like Sony just couldn’t make any magic happen and picked the scraps, where as other months they knock it out of the park. This month is like the latter.
Joining Darksiders and Darksiders II, we have Darksiders III joining the Plus line up. It isn’t terribly shocking given the franchises history and the lackluster sales. A lot of that had more to do with a bad launch than serious issues with the game, several of which were addressed. It also comes in a time when the second expansion released and offers a bit to do, even if the first one has some more familiar faces. At least give it a go before Darksiders Genesis releases sometime this year.
In addition to Darksiders III being a legacy title, we have Batman: Arkham Knight. The previous titles for this franchise, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, were offered as Plus titles in the past too. However, reviews were much for favorable and quickly became a popular choice for fans and newcomers alike.
Both titles will be available for download next Tuesday. This means you have one last chance to snag this months titles, something I strongly suggest you do.
