Microsoft finally revealed today at their E3 2019 press conference that the much awaited Xbox Game Pass for PC will finally have its open beta starting today.
While it’s indeed an awesome announcement for PC gamers, people are confused as to how they can download the App. Well, we got you covered!
To download the Xbox Game Pass PC App, just follow these steps:
- Make sure the Windows Build of your Windows 10 is at Build 1903. You can look up for the build by searching up “About your PC” and you can find the version underneath the Windows specification.
- If your Windows build is not updated, you need to upgrade your Windows. To upgrade, head over to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=799445
- Check if your PC is available to download the new update. If you are, then the update will download automatically.
- Once you’re all set up and have downloaded the newest build, download the Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) app from the Windows Store, https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass/pc-games or https://aka.ms/XboxInstaller
Xbox Game Pass for PC is available now. Those who have an Xbox Game Pass from Xbox One will be able to participate in the open beta and download hundreds of games from their library. New subscribers can avail the limited time promotion where the subscription pass only costs $1 for the first month. The Xbox Game Pass normally retails for $4.99 per month.
