With EGX Rezzed 2019 at the end of the week a whole host of games has been announced for the London (UK) based event, alongside some awesome sounding developer sessions.
One of the biggest games to be at the event this year is Anno 1800, from Ubisoft, the game which has shockingly followed the likes of Metro Exodus to Epic Store exclusivity. As well as being playable at the event, Anno 1800’s Community Developer, Bastian Thun, will take to the Developer Stage on Thursday (at 4.00pm) to discuss the game world itself.
While the big names like Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox will all be showing games off, Rezzed is indie focused. Over 200 games will be on show ranging from the smash hit Gang Beasts, a frantic multiplayer melee brawn with blob people, to Trueberbrook, a point and click adventure featuring scenery and backdrops built in miniature scale and captured via a 3D scanner.
Devolver Digital has also just confirmed their full lineup of games that they are taking to EGX Rezzed 2019. It includes:
- Ape Out
- Enter the Gungeon: A Farewell to Arms
- Gato Roboto
- GRIS (PC and Switch)
- Katana Zero
- My Friend Pedro
- The Swords of Ditto MC
- Downwell
- Broforce
- Pikuniku
- The Messenger
- MINIT
EGX Rezzed 2019 opens this Thursday, April 4th, and runs until Saturday, April 6th. It is the first of two London based events that EGX is putting on this year, with the bigger brother EGX 2019 scheduled for Q4. EGX Rezzed 2019 is, once again, to be held in the London Tobacco Docks, a short walk from the Shadwell tube stop. Note, if it is the same as previous years there will be a long queue to get in as the event opens. It is therefore best to get their early to be at the front of the queue or arrive a little after opening.
