Devil May Cry 5 is the hottest game right now and many PS4, Xbox One, and PC owners are pretty much enjoying it except for those who only have a Nintendo Switch. Hoping that Capcom will release it at some point, there’s actually a possibility if one condition is met.
In an interview with Devil May Cry 5’s director, Hideaki Itsuno in a German Magazine called M! Games, he stated that a Switch version will be considered in one condition – that’s if Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen on the Switch will sell well.
“We started the development of Devil May Cry 5 when we didn’t have the Nintendo Switch development kit. Because of that, we concentrated on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions, but if Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen sells well on the Switch, then we might consider porting DMC5.” – Hideaki Itsuno via M! Games Magazine
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be releasing for the Switch in several weeks worldwide. If fans indeed support this game, there is a huge possibility that Switch owners might see Dante. With so many games that have been ported for the Nintendo Switch, it’s not really surprising if Devil May Cry 5 or previous DMC games will make its way later this year.
