2K Games has now revealed the official release date for the Rising Stars DLC pack that will be out later this month for use in WWE 2K19.
WWE 2K19 has the largest roster in wrestling game history, but now fans will be able to play as even more wrestlers when this new DLC pack comes out. 2K Games has announced that the Rising Stars DLC pack will be released on all formats on January 22nd, 2019.
You can get the DLC separately for a price of $9.99 in North America, or it’s included as part of the Season Pass. In either case it’s worth getting if you want new wrestlers.
The DLC includes the following WWE, NXT and 205 Live wrestlers.
Ricochet: Is the current NXT North American champion and one of the best wrestlers currently out there today. People may know him already in the independent scene. He had great matches with Will Ospreay and is now doing great on the NXT brand. I just hope he is able to do well in the main roster.
Mike Kanellis and Maria Kanellis: Maria has always been popular back in the Divas era, but she eventually married Mike Kanellis in real life. Mike has not been active on the main roster, but he’s finding it better on the 205 Live roster. You can watch their entrance video below.
Lio Rush: People will know him best as the current manager for the ‘Almighty’ Bobby Lashley over on the Raw brand. He has a loud mouth, but is one of the best people that can cut a promo. Some fans may have already seen him wrestle on the 205 Live cruiserweight show.
Dakota Kai: Dakota Kai is a talented and cute wrestler from my hometown of Auckland, New Zealand. She originally had the ring name of ‘Evie’ before she decided to rename herself as Dakota Kai. She can be seen wrestling on NXT and NXT UK. This is the second time a New Zealander is in a WWE video game following the Bushwhackers.
Candice LeRae: Is another popular female wrestler on the NXT brand. People may know her best as the real life wife to Johnny Gargano.
Lacey Evans: I don’t know much about NXT star Lacey Evans other than the fact that she’s a pretty blonde girl. She’s the type of girl Vince McMahon likes and she is due to be on the main roster sooner rather than later.
