Capcom announced today that Resident Evil 2 will be receiving a hefty amount of post-launch content when the game releases this Friday, January 25.
During the Japanese pre-launch live stream today, Capcom announced that fans of the classic Resident Evil 2 will be receiving costumes for both Leon and Claire. Their outfits from the classic Resident Evil 2 will be given as a bonus free of charge starting March 22. Those who purchase the Resident Evil 2 original design Japanese PlayStation Card will be the one getting the bonuses.
In addition to the costume, The Ghost Survivors has also been announced for Resident Evil 2. It’s pretty much a new game mode that will be released as a free update. The new mode will allow players to experience a “What if” situation side story where three sub-characters (the mayor’s daughter, Robert Kendo, and a mysterious U.S.S. memberR) did not suffer at the hands of misfortune. Fans can look forward to new type of enemies in this new mode.
