This Week’s New Releases 11/11 – 11/17; Fallout 76, Battlefield V, Pokemon Switch and More

While this week doesn’t have many releases, the few we do have are of a much higher quality than we normally see, with each platform having something big and exciting to see. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will finally get a chance to experience Fallout 76 and Battlefield V, with Switch getting the Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee games.

Even though Fallout 76 was met with mixed reactions and it’s set to receive a massive day one patch, it still has a lot to look forward to. With the beta giving some players a reason to play with others and others a reason to wish they were playing alone, it will be interesting to see if it’s the first step in a wondrous adventure or a reminder online isn’t always a good thing. If that isn’t your thing, Battlefield V also gives players a new place to shoot their friends. With new modes, learning from the past and a fair amount of faith, it looks to be an experience that will turn heads. As for the Switch, Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee look to be a great way to get someone interested in Pokemon. Despite it not being the mainline entry most gamers want, it should give them plenty to do until Super Smash Bros. Ultimate releases in a few short weeks. Finally, after receiving a short delay, Spyro Reignited Trilogy brings the beloved trilogy back.
