In Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Eevee, the Pokemon you are able to start with is limited to what version you choose. With Let’s Go Pikachu, you will obviously get Pikachu while Let’s Go Eevee, you will get an Eevee at the beginning of the game. While both Pokemon are adorable, many are hoping it would be one of the three starters like Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.
Luckily, the three starter Pokemon that everyone adores are obtainable regardless of what version you choose. Yes, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle are all obtainable and they all have their Mega Evolution form later on in the game.
Now, getting all three won’t be an easy task and before you get each of them, you will be performing specific tasks.
Here’s how to get the three starter Pokemon:
Bulbasaur
Location: Cerulean City
One of the first three starter Pokemon that you can get in Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee is Bulbasaur. As soon as reach Cerulean City, immediately go to the house near the Pokemon Center and you will find a trainer wanting to give out her Bulbasaur. To get the Pokemon, you must have captured at least 30 Pokemon.
Charmander
Location: Route 24
As you are passing through Route 24, you will encounter a trainer who wants to give up on his Charmander as he feels he’s not good enough to be his trainer. To get Charmander off from him, you must prove that you’re a better trainer than him. Now, capture at least 50 Pokemon and you can get his Charmander.
Squirtle
Location: Vermillion City
Upon entering Vermillion City, look for Officer Jenny in front of a house near the Pokemon Center. Apparently, Squirtle has been a very bad Pokemon and Officer Jenny wants a good trainer to adopt it. Before Officer Jenny makes a decision to give Squirtle, you must prove yourself to her and that is by capturing at least 60 Pokemon.
