Red Dead Redemption 2 Guide – List of Outfits and How to access them

Outfits in Red Dead Redemption 2 is essential in surviving the harsh weather the game puts Arthur Morgan in. With the weather changing in the game, so does the health of Arthur Morgan thus it’s important to find out how to access the outfits in the game.

As mentioned in the tips article that I wrote earlier, knowing what kind of outfit Arthur should wear is important as whenever he wears an appropriate clothing at a specific weather condition, his health, and stamina are affected. Luckily, there are about ten preset outfits available that you can choose from in the game, that is including the Special Edition outfit content.

For Arthur Morgan to change his outfit, you must reach the second chapter of the game. Once you have established a base camp called Horshoe Overlook, the game will tell you that you are now able to change your outfit. Head over to the tent that allows you to change outfits. Look for the triangle icon on your map and go there to change your outfit. In addition, you can also shave Arthur Morgan’s beard or decide whether he’ll have it all shaven off or have a beard. Luckily, they are free so Arthur Morgan can change his look at any time.

– Brawler’s Outfit
– The Ruffian
– The Innocent
– The Persuer

– The Clairmont (The Valentine General Goods Shop for $92.75)

To change at anytime, you can put three outfits in your horse, including the ones Arthur Morgan is currently wearing. It’s best to equip additional two more that is suitable for different weather conditions as you never know what Arthur Morgan will encounter in his missions.

If the preset outfits isn’t something you like for Arthur to wear, you are free to customize his look. For more selection, you can purchase them in towns like in Saint Dennis, Van Horn Trading Post or give Trapper pelts for him to make you a new one.
