The much awaited beta test for Fallout 76 will finally begin tonight for those who have an Xbox One.
The first session for the Fallout 76 beta begins today from 7PM ET to 11PM ET. Fans who already have access will be able to pre-load the game today, making sure that your client will all be ready when the gates for the beta test have been opened.
Other sessions will be announced at a later date. According to Bethesda, times and days will vary, so it’s important for fans to stay tuned at their social media channels for updates.
To participate in the beta, players must have pre-ordered the game. For those who have pre-ordered on the Xbox Live Marketplace, the beta will automatically be available for download, whereas those who pre-ordered physically will get their code from the stores they pre-ordered it at.
With the launch of the beta tonight, Bethesda posted a lengthy letter last night urging fans to help them find bugs. They admitted that there are bugs in the game that they are aware of and there are others they not aware about.
“Given what we’re doing with 76, we know we’re opening everyone up to all new spectacular issues none of us have encountered,” the studio said in the letter. “Some we’re aware of, such as areas where performance needs to improve with lots of players. Others, we surely don’t. We need your help finding them, and advice on what’s important to fix.”
For an online game, it’s expected to see bugs and for the developer to admit that the game still have bugs is a good gesture that everyone should appreciate. Since we are a few weeks away before its release, Bethesda still has time to iron out the bugs with the help of their fans.
From the online games that they recently released like The Elder Scrolls Online, let’s admit it that the launch wasn’t perfect as the game had bugs but they slowly fixed it and look how The Elder Scrolls Online is now. For naysayers, don’t be all too negative!
Fallout 76 will be available on November 14 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
