Holospark has just announced the ‘Invasion Update’ for Earthfall, a cooperative alien themed online first-person shooter, is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam.
Invasion is the teams attempt at bringing in a number of features that fans of the game have been requesting since the beta. These “community” features included a horde mode, a progression system and player abilities. There are also four brand new maps being released (Raven’s Roost, Nuclear Facility, The Mines and Precious Cargo) as part of the Invasion update, for the horde mode gameplay.
In Invasion Mode players must survive waves of alien monsters. With each wave comes a new opportunity as well as a new batch of aliens to destroy. Unlock perks, create more powerful weaponry and earn buffs as you survive to make the onslaught somewhat easier. Holospark has confirmed their will be “over 50 levels of new cosmetic and player abilities can be unlocked in the new Player Progression System. By completing new in-game tasks, gamers can earn unique skills including dual wielding MP5s, self-reviving ability, and even shoving a grenade in the mouth of alien threshers to escape from being pinned!”
