Sony Interactive Entertainment announced today that Days Gone, one of the most anticipated title of 2019 for the PlayStation 4, has been once again delayed from its scheduled release date of February 2019.
The new release date for Days Gone is now April 26, 2019. One of the reasons of the delay is that the studio believes February is already crowded and they will use the opportunity to further polish the game.

Statement
We want to share a change in release date for this highly anticipated title from Bend Studio. We recently decided to move the release of Days Gone from the crowded February timeframe to April 26, 2019. While the studio is eager to see Days Gone in the hands of fans, Bend Studio will take the opportunity to further polish Days Gone.
As PlayStation fans already know, Days Gone is an open-world action game set in the high-desert of the Pacific Northwest. Traversing harsh landscapes on their drifter bike, players must fight for resources as they attempt to survive broken roads, unpredictable weather, attacks from other human factions, infected wildlife and roaming Freakers — a brutal, dynamic world that is dangerous both day and night.
Days Gone is an action-adventure game developed by Bend Studio. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic open world played from a third-person perspective. Players will be playing as Deacon St. John, a former outlaw-turned drifter and bounty hunter who prefers life on the road to wilderness encampments.
Since the game’s announcement at E3 2016, the garnered a lot of hype and is now considered as the much awaited game of Sony for the PlayStation 4. While it may be disappointing that the game has been delayed once again, let’s just think that it’s for the better as more development time means more polished game when it launches next year.
Days Gone will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on April 26, 2019. Check back with us near the release date for our coverage and review of the game. Stay tuned.
