Deep Silver announced today via Twitter that Saints Row: The Third will be getting a Nintendo Switch version. Unfortunately, there’s no word as to when the game will be released.
Saints Row: The Third for the Nintendo Switch is currently being developed by Deep Silver Fishlabs. If you missed out on Saints Row: The Third back when it was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and PC – definitely consider waiting for the Nintendo Switch version.
Here’s an overview of Saints Row: The Third via Steam:
Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobble head dolls all available at a store near you.
The Saints are kings of Stilwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute. Refusing to kneel to the Syndicate, you take the fight to Steelport, a once-proud metropolis reduced to a struggling city of sin under Syndicate control.
Take a tank skydiving, call in a satellite-targeted airstrike on a Mexican wrestling gang, and defend yourself against a highly-trained military force using only a sex toy in the most out- landish gameplay scenarios ever seen, igniting a city-wide war that will set Steelport on fire. Strap it on.
Saints Row: The Third is one of the my favorite Saints Row games that Deep Silver released – it’s really quite good news to hear that Deep Silver will be porting it for the Nintendo Switch. There’s currently no further information was revealed about the portable version of the game, though Deep Silver UK promised that “More info to be revealed in due course.”
We’ll keep you updated as soon as we get a word about Saints Row: The Third for the Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned.
