Square Enix has now announced that Final Fantasy VIII’s Rinoa Heartily is now available for you to download and purchase in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. The game is a PS4 exclusive and features many characters from the Final Fantasy universe battling in fast paced three vs three fights.
Aside from announcing her arrival in the game, Square Enix also revealed a touching new trailer looking at the type of damage Rinoa Heartily can do in the actual video game. “Rinoa brings a brand-new fighting style to the game, using her versatile Blaster Edge weapon to attack enemies from afar and protect her allies. She can also partner up with her loyal canine companion Angelo to disrupt her enemies’ attacks and keep her rivals at a distance. Rinoa’s unique EX Skill “Angel Wing” transforms her into a powerful sorceress, completely changing her move set and allowing her to wield powerful magic at the cost of reducing her HP over time.
Rinoa is available now as a standalone purchase, or as part of the Season Pass, which further includes Vayne from FINAL FANTASY XII, Locke from FINAL FANTASY VI and three additional unrevealed characters, each with two additional skins and weapons. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT came out earlier this year featuring loads of playable characters and stages from the famous Final Fantasy franchise. This is not the last announcement for the game because three more DLC characters are left to be announced. There’s many other gaming events happening later this year so hopefully Square Enix announces more details for the unrevealed fighters very soon.
