Tapings for NXT UK went underway this weekend and 2K Games capitalized on the opportunity to finally announce some of the first wrestlers that will be in the WWE 2K19 roster. Fans of UK wrestling will be happy because two of England’s best professional wrestlers in the world are in this year’s game.
2K Games confirmed that current WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne and Mustache Mountain’s Pete Dunne are in the game. Dunne is only 24 years old and Bate is 21 years old. They might be one of the youngest people on the entire roster, but both of them are very talented. Trust me, these two always have great matches with anyone they are in the ring with.
Aside from announcing the two are in the game, 2K Games also revealed the full entrances of them in WWE 2K19 as well. Tyler Bate’s character model looks really accurate to his real life counterpart. Dunne is impressive looking too as he has the UK Championship title during his entrance. 2K even made him hold the belt with his mouth like he does in real life too!
I also noticed that 2K has somewhat improved the hair physics for wrestlers in WWE 2K19. Dunne’s hair sways realistically, unlike the wig like motions that appeared in the previous games.
2K Games says this is the first of many roster reveals that will be occurring from now until the official release of the game this October. We already know Ronda Rousey and Rey Mysterio are in the game as they are playable if you pre-order the game. Daniel Bryan is also in the game as he has his own Showcase mode while AJ Styles was confirmed months ago since he’s the cover star.
Anyway, you can look at the new WWE 2K19 entrances in the videos that have been posted down below. The full game will out on October 9th, 2018 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
