Ronda Rousey has been rendered in video games before, most notably in the EA Sports UFC video games. Now the former MMA fighter and current WWE Superstar will be in another video game as she will debut in WWE 2K19.
2K Sports and ESPN have now released the first screenshot of Ronda Rousey in the WWE 2K19 video game. Her character model looks pretty accurate as she wears the same wrestling attire she does in real life. I have to admit though, the look on her face could look a bit better, although it’s best to judge until the game comes out.
Ronda Rousey retired from UFC/MMA a few years ago after suffering back-to-back losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes. After taking a long break, Ronda Rousey decided to give professional wrestling a go and she has been entertaining fans ever since.
Sure Ronda Rousey could have made a career in Hollywood, but Rousey says wrestling in WWE is more fun. She’s not alone in the wrestling business because three of her best friends are also in the company with her.
2018 has been a great year for Rousey so far as she excelled in her debut match back at WrestleMania 34. She teamed up with Kurt Angle to defeat the power couple of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Rousey has had two more matches after that competing opposite Nia Jax and Alicia Fox.
This is not the end of Rousey because you can see her this Sunday against Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam 2018. The match will be for the Raw Women’s Title.
Anyway, Ronda Rousey along with Rey Mysterio will be added in WWE 2K19 as pre-order bonuses. If you don’t pre-order the game, you won’t get access to them instantly. WWE 2K19 releases on October 9th, 2018 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
