Microsoft announced a ton of new things for the Xbox brand at Gamescom 2018. While there was no major new game reveals, we do get more information about a major title entering Xbox Game Pass, more Xbox One bundles plus one game is finally exiting early access.
The first thing we can recap is that Forza Horizon 4 will have an all-new online multiplayer mode called Team Adventure. This is where you can team up with lots of other online races to participate in races, games or just to free roam. You will get unique rewards and more playing via this mode.
While no release date has been announced yet, Microsoft revealed some new gameplay footage for Ori and the Will of the Wasps. This is a sequel to the well received Ori and the Blind Forst which came out a few years ago. The game will be out in 2019 and you can check out the new trailer posted down below.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) released as an early access title for the Xbox One console back in December 2017. Well nine months later, Microsoft is proud to announce the full game is finally releasing on September 4th, 2018. The full game promises to include all of the new maps and features that PC gamers have been experiencing for many months now.
Some new DLC has also been announced for already released video games such as State of Decay 2 and Sea of Thieves. State of Decay 2’s DLC pack comes out on September 12th, 2018 while the Sea of Thieves DLC is out on September 19th, 2018.
There is also good news for gamers that have subscribed to Xbox Game Pass. The good news is that the Xbox One X enhanced Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to the program on September 4th, 2018. You can play the first four Halo video games from September 1st, 2018 on Game Pass.
Lastly, if you have yet to buy an Xbox One, Microsoft has announced several new Xbox One console bundles for you to buy later this year. The new bundles include games such as Battlefield V, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Forza Horizon 4 and also Fallout 76.
