2K Games has been busy today because not only was the first screenshot for WWE 2K19 released today, but the publisher has also shared the latest gameplay video for NBA 2K19 as well. This is your first look at what this year’s game will look like.
The most interesting thing about today’s trailer is that we finally get to see what it looks like with LeBron James wearing a Los Angeles Lakers jersey for the first ever time. As you might know already, LeBron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier this year after they failed to capture the NBA Championship Title for the second year in a row.
You cannot really blame LeBron James though because he had to go up against the Golden State Warriors four times in a row. Their team is stacked thanks to the lineup consisting of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. The Warriors lineup is even better in the upcoming season because they have now added DeMarcus Cousins as their new center.
The rest of the gameplay looks at the other players and teams of the NBA. Much like with WWE 2K19, it looks like NBA 2K19 will utilize the same game engine that Visual Concepts has been using for the past few years now. Don’t expect too many big changes as it’s rare for annually released video games to add new features year in and year out.
Anyway, you can look at the brand new trailer for the game posted down below. People that pre-order the game can own it on September 7th, 2018. For everyone else that does not pre-order the game, it will be out on September 11th, 2018. The game will be available for you to buy on the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. NBA 2K19 will be the first NBA 2K in a long time not to be coming out on PS3 or Xbox 360.
