One of Spider-Man’s most popular villains has always been the Eddie Brock version of Venom. As popular as the character is, it sounds like he will not be appearing in the upcoming Spider-Man PS4 video game that’s coming out later this year.
Art director for Insomniac Games, Jacinda Chew, has hinted on her own Twitter account that Venom might not be appearing in the game at all. She said Venom might be “Too big to fit into #SpiderManPS4“. Her words hints that he won’t be in the game since there’s lots of other villains in the game already.
It’s possible Eddie Brock could still appear in the game, but he might not be Venom yet. Insomniac Games might add the villain if a sequel is made in the future.
Anyway, Spider-Man PS4 releases exclusively for the PlayStation 4 console on September 7th, 2018.
