While LeBron James is the cover for the 20th Anniversary edition of NBA 2K19, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named as the main cover star for the standard version of the game. Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the best young NBA stars today.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been described by 2K as the first International star to be on the cover of an NBA 2K video game. Most of the other cover stars were American, but he’s Greek. The Milwaukee Bucks star is also described to be the next LeBron James thanks to his playing style.
“I am honored to be the first international player featured on the cover of NBA 2K19,” said Antetokounmpo. “I love playing NBA 2K so this means a lot to me. I have worked hard to earn recognition in the NBA and being on the cover of NBA 2K19 is a dream come true.”
