Gamers living in Australia and New Zealand are in for a treat because it has been announced that Rookie of the Year Ben Simmons will be the cover star for NBA 2K19. He will be added as a second cover following the main star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
EB Games New Zealand announced this on Facebook by saying the following: “Just announced: NBA 2K19 welcomes Ben Simmons as the New Zealand Cover Star! NBA 2K19 will feature a double sided inlay in Australia & New Zealand which will display the Ben Simmons cover and the Giannis Antetokounmpo cover on either side.”
The main reason he features on the cover down under is because Ben Simmons is from Australia. Kiwi fans just have to go for the ride since there’s not another cover featuring NZ’s Steven Adams from OKC.
Bear in mind the Ben Simmons cover is only for the standard version of the game. If you are getting the 20th Anniversary cover, you will get LeBron James.
