60fps is the standard when it comes to shooting games and Gears of War fans might be happy with the next game coming out next year. This is because Xbox One X owners may experience the entire game at 60fps.
In the past, Gears of War 4 had 60fps although it wasn’t available on all modes and settings of the game. Gears 5 is aiming to do 60fps on all settings.
This was confirmed by Guy Welch on Twitter recently who is a Marketing Director for Xbox. He said: “@CoalitionGears is pushing @UnrealEngine to 60 FPS on all modes on Xbox One X — you bet it looks great! Thanks for coming by the green room after the #XboxE3 briefing. Was great catching up.”
There’s still no release date for Gears 5, but it will be released for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC sometime in the year of 2019.
