Star Wars Battlefront 2 may have had a rocky start when it launched last year, but continued updates are making the game more enjoyable. EA and DICE have now revealed the free DLC that you can expect to see later this year.
First coming in July is a new game mode called “Hero Starfighters”. This is a new 4v4 PVP mode where you can control only hero/villain ships. Expect to see the likes of Slave 1 and the Millennium Falcon be used in this mode!
Also coming in July are a few gameplay improvements. This includes stamina being used when you block with a lightsaber and you can even turn on and turn off your lightsaber at will.
In August, you can expect to see more Clone Trooper skins and more emotes and victory poses will be added. You can unlock the new emotes by using the in-game credits and crystals.
In the Fall, there is even more stuff for you to look forward to. Both General Grievous and Obi-Wan Kenobi will be added as playable characters while a new Large Scale Mode is also added. In the Winter, Anakin Skywalker and Count Dooku join the fight and the planet of Geonosis is playable too.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. All DLC in the game is free so you don’t have to worry about Season Passes or anything like that!
