If you have some interest in VR and keep up on social media, then you’ve probably already heard of Beat Saber. The title originally released on PC based VR units a little while ago and thanks to some fun modifications, became fairly big due to the ability to make your own maps to popular songs.
For those who haven’t heard of Beat Saber, it’s essentially a rhythm game, so you push inputs at specific times to mimic the action, with the difference being you need to cut a box and it needs to be cut a specific direction. It sounds easier than it is and makes for, if nothing else, a good workout.
Outside of the announcement, it was confirmed all songs will be original and come from composer Jaroslav Beck. The announcement implies getting other songs isn’t out of question but we will see how it works out in the end.
